ART PROJECTS

Empowering familiar objects with new meanings and poetic symbolism, the artist reinterprets the still life tradition by isolating one object at a time and placing it within the abstract space. This deliberate placement allows the object to evolve and resonate with deeper significance without distraction, so that each piece becomes a meditative exploration of form and meaning.

Almost suspended in the air of the canvas, Alina ́s “big little symbols” speak to a myriad of inner topics, drawing the viewer in with dynamic compositions, intriguing textures, and nuanced color palettes, striving to evoke curiosity.
Alina works with a variety of techniques, including oil and acrylic paints, mixed media, charcoal, pastel, spray paint, and epoxy resin. Depending on the subject she is exploring and the visual effect she aims to emphasize, the artist carefully selects the appropriate medium.

Each piece begins with a core concept and a key message. From there, she searches for the metaphorical object that best embodies the idea — followed by the development of the composition and the choice of materials.
